What You Will Do
- Provide safe, compassionate antenatal and postnatal nursing care
- Assist and support mothers throughout labour and delivery
- Monitor the wellbeing of both mother and baby
- Deliver high-quality newborn care and educate families on postnatal health
- Work collaboratively with obstetricians, paediatricians, and the multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Ensure patient safety while maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence
Minimum Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Nursing with Midwifery qualification
- Current registration with SANC as a Registered Nurse/Midwife
- Sufficient Medical Malpractice Insurance cover
- Minimum of 2 years' recent midwifery experience in a hospital maternity unit
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
