Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to premature, critically ill, and medically complex newborns.
- Continuously assess, monitor, and document patients' clinical conditions.
- Administer medications, intravenous therapy, blood products, and nutritional support according to physician orders.
- Operate and monitor specialized NICU equipment, including ventilators, incubators, CPAP, infusion pumps, and cardiac monitors.
- Respond promptly to neonatal emergencies and assist during resuscitation procedures.
- Collaborate with neonatologists, pediatricians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate and support parents and families regarding infant care, treatment plans, feeding, and discharge preparation.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant patient records.
- Adhere to infection prevention and control standards and patient safety protocols.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, continuing education, and departmental training.
- Mentor and support junior nursing staff and nursing students when appropriate.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a current and valid nursing license.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or Diploma/Degree in Nursing (according to local regulatory requirements).
- Minimum of 1–2 years of NICU or critical care nursing experience (preferred).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification (required or obtained within the required timeframe).
- Advanced neonatal nursing certifications are an advantage.

Working Conditions
