About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Orthopaedics Sales Representative strongith a strong clinical background in the operating theatre — ideally with scrub tech experience— to join our dynamic sales team in KwaZulu-Natal.
In this role, you will be responsible for promoting and supporting orthopaedic surgical products strongithin hospitals, clinics, and private practices. You’ll play a vital part in both pre-operative preparation and in-theatre support, building long-term relationships with surgeons, theatre staff, and procurement teams.
This is a field-based role requiring frequent travel across KZN.
Key Responsibilities

Promote and sell a portfolio of orthopaedic products (implants, instruments, and related solutions) to hospitals and clinics

Provide in-theatre support to surgeons and staff during orthopaedic procedures (e.g. trauma, joint replacement, spine, etc.)

Deliver product training and education to clinical teams

Collaborate with procurement and theatre teams to ensure smooth stock availability and usage

Build and maintain strong customer relationships to drive product adoption and customer satisfaction

Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets

Maintain accurate records of customer visits, sales activities, and competitor insights

Represent the company at conferences, workshops, and product launches
Requirements
Education & Experience:

Clinical background with scrub technician/theatre nursing experience strongs essential

Previous experience in orthopaedics or surgical sales (preferred)

Understanding of surgical protocols and in-theatre dynamics

Sales experience in a healthcare environment is a strong advantage

Strong clinical acumen and confidence working in theatre settings

Highly motivated,enthusiastic, and target-driven

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Comfortable with frequent travel strongcross KwaZulu-Natal

Self-disciplined and able to work independently in a field-based role

Strong organisational and time-management skills

Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport
