We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and professional Enrolled Nurse to join our healthcare team for Locum. The successful candidate will provide quality nursing care to patients while working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and in accordance with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) regulations
Key responsibilities
- Monitor and record patients' vital signs and report any changes.
- Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges.
- Administer medication as prescribed and within scope of practice.
- Support patients with activities of daily living.
- Maintain accurate patient records and nursing documentation.
- Promote infection prevention and control measures.
- Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Provide emotional support and health education to patients and families
Minimum Requirements
- Qualification as an Enrolled Nurse
- Ability to work Weekend's, Day and Night Shifts
- Current registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
- Previous nursing experience in a hospital, clinic, or healthcare setting will be advantageous.
- Sound knowledge of nursing practices and patient care standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
